After city employees each got pictures at Monday's commission meeting, Commissioner Wayne Lewis got an extra award for being the Community Service winner at the Leadership Bartow XIV.

In making a special presentation at Monday's City Commission meeting, Mayor Leo Longworth gave pictures to city employees who were members of the Leadership Bartow XIV class. It was the most city employees ever in the program. The only one who didn't show for the presentation was Angie Whisnant. From left is David White, Helena Crafton, George Long, Jackie Poole, Gail Murray and Wayne Lewis.

It wasn’t on the city commission agenda, but most of the people Mayor Leo Longworth surprised with gifts and tokens Monday night were present.

He called them up one by one: David Wyant, Helena Crafton, George Long, Jackie Poole, Angie Whisnant, Gail Murray and Wayne Lewis. Only Whisnant was not present.
