Meeting in Tallahassee on June 15 in closed session, the Florida Commission on Ethics took action on 20 complaints, among them one involving Gerald Buhr, former Mulberry city attorney.

Buhr agreed to a finding that he violated ethics laws by misusing his position to secure a rate increase without approval of the City Council. A civil penalty of $2,500 will be recommended to the governor for imposition by executive order.
