Dale Terrell spoke to a group of 17 at-risk students Thursday at Winter Haven’s Florence Villa Community Development Corporation on achieving success with high-quality discipline and an academic focus, leadership skills and setting expectations at the highest level to achieve educational objectives and excellence.

The students, between 12 and 17, heard that if they perform at a high level on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test 2.0, their probability of passing the Standardized Assessment Test and American College Test will be greater.
