New arts and culture committee schedules meeting for Sept. 26

Arts and culture are ways to draw tourists and Polk County is stepping up its effort to do just that.
The county has created a Tourist Development Council Arts and Culture Committee. A total of 22 people, including County Commissioner Melony Bell, who is chairing it, will serve on the new committee.
