City commissioners on Monday will have their final hearing on a budget that collects less money in property taxes for the fourth straight year. However, tightening their belts once again, the city is aiming to look at three priorities.

“As I told commissioners, we have three priorities on policy areas that are unfunded or underfunded to address this year,” City Manager George Long said. “I have ideas on how to approach them. Those are employee compensation, streets and sidewalks, and city facilities.”
