This Friday, Sept. 21, Bartow Police Department employees are hosting a day of fundraisers to assist part-time Bartow Police Officer Autumn Fenton and her family.

Diagnosed with the debilitating illness lupus in June, Fenton has been in extreme pain and in the hospital numerous times. Having taken an extended leave of absence from her full-time job with the county, as well as her part-time position, and with two small children, the financial burden and emotional toll has been difficult. She is currently under medical treatment for this illness.
