Last-minute state House candidate visits Lake Wales

Mike LaRosa said it twice Monday that he is not a politician, and he wasn’t doing any fast-talking.
LaRosa, who is running for the state House of Representatives District 42 seat, has never been a candidate for elected office. He gave his first political speech Monday.
