Of course, leave it to Polk County’s art teachers to be creative. Surely this past year’s Kids Tag Art is a perfect example of the superior art instruction occurring around the county for fifth-graders who are participating in the seventh year of this program launched by the Polk County Tax Collector’s Office.

“When you look at the use of specialized mediums now employed in arts classrooms around the county,” Joe Tedder explains, “you can’t help but see the impact this program is having in both giving art teachers’ discretionary funds for use in the classroom while also inspiring them to teach to their full potential.”
