As an organization grows, it often becomes necessary to add personnel to newly-created positions, and the Greater Bartow Chamber of Commerce is no exception. Serving the business community, the Chamber has seen its own share of growth, despite the weakening economy of the past several years, and as a result the position held by Linda Holcomb — that of events planning and membership services — was split, allowing Holcomb to focus on her key strength in event planning; Holcomb’s newly-renamed title is Special Events Director.

From there the Chamber turned to Barbara Adamson and asked her to take up the reins of the newly-created Memberships Services Director position. She assumed the position Oct. 1.
