Mayors and representatives from all 17 Polk County municipalities and a representative from the county will be present at the Coleman Bush building in Lakeland on Thursday, Oct. 11, to make a unified statement about designing and constructing futures roads that maximize the safety and accessibility for all Polk county residents and visitors.

A document called the Complete Streets policy will be authorized by the mayors and each city, town or village will be provided a framed copy of the document following the signing session.
