Airport Authority calls for Phase Two study

Bartow Airport Authority commissioners were updated Oct. 15 by Authority Attorney Sean Parker regarding the land lease with McCoy Marketing Services Corp., which wants to take over the hangar(s) that formerly housed Florida Aircraft Painting of Bartow.

After having recently put the finishing touches to a proposed lease with Phil McCoy who, along with partners, wants to set up a light sport airplane manufacturing facility, Parker said McCoy at first glance did not see any issues. Beyond that initial contact, though, Parker said he had not heard back from McCoy, so had sent another email.
