Mary Jane Stanley was named the interim director of economic development while the Central Florida Development Council Inc. conducts a nationwide search for an executive director.

Stanley, a professional certified economic developer, has more than 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently, she is the president of Stanley Advisory Associates, which specializes in a variety of economic development and downtown development areas, including strategic planning; organizational management and restructuring; and business development and retention strategies.
