Minor snag doesn’t prevent new business at airport
It may be a technicality — and a minor one at that — but for Bartow Airport Authority commissioners, it is not a hurdle toward signing a lease.
The issue, brought up at the Jan. 14 regular meeting, revolved around the fictitious name of the company that is interested in leasing the former Flavors From Florida structure. Up until recently, references to negotiations have been Savory Sun, a company headed by Charles Bass that is incorporated in Delaware but not Florida. Now the name and references, at least possibly for the time being, is Agricultural Industrial Services.
