Lydia Sturgis Zbrzeznj has joined the Bartow-based law firm of Frost Van den Boom & Smith, P.A.
Zbrzeznj obtained her bachelor’s degree in Government from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va., in 2006. She obtained her J.D. degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Fla., in May 2012, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
While attending Florida Coastal School of Law, she received honors in Law Review’s Technical Editor of the Year; Book Award for Highest Grade in Constitutional Law I & II, Criminal Procedure; Lawyers Process I & II (Legal Research and Writing), Comprehensive Law Practice III; Florida Constitutional Law, Media law, Sports Law Seminar, Torts I, Dean’s Scholar (all 6 semesters). Publication in Florida’s Controversial Gun Policy: Liberally Permitting Citizens to Arm Themselves and Broadly Recognizing the Right to Act in Self Defense, 13 Fla. Coastal L. Rev. 231 (2012). Zbrzeznj was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2012.
She will concentrate in the areas of personal injury, business litigation and appellate law.
