Zelma ‘Tinker’ Guest Smith
Zelma “Tinker” Guest Smith, of Spring, Texas, went to be with our Lord on April 24, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Tiger Bay, Fla., on March 6, 1947, and grew up with seven sisters and three brothers.
Tinker was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Violet Guest; brother Waymon Guest; and sisters, Vida Everett, Wanda Mullis, Elizabeth Ayers and LaVerne Mincey.
She leaves, to cherish her memories, her husband of 39 years, Bill; son Chuck and Ashley; sister, BeBe Sanders, of Conroe, Texas; brothers, Wayne Guest and wife Mary, and Johnny Guest and wife Linda, all of Bartow; sisters, Kitty Hurst and husband Leroy of Mulberry, and Sheila Elwood and husband Randy of Bradley; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Smith’s niece and husband, Tatia and Robert Feltman, and their children, RJ, Durbin, Rhys and Jett, held a special place in her heart. She loved her “babies.”
Per her wishes, organs were harvested to help others have a better quality of life.
