Polk County Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit detectives arrested 32-year-old David Lee Sinnett, 2765 Holly Lane, Bartow, for one count aggravated child abuse, on Wednesday, July 4, according to a press release issued by the PCSO.

According to an affidavit filed by Detective Stephen Tidwell, Sinnett allegedly beat a 2-year-old boy with a clothes hanger about his face and body, causing several bruises and severely injuring the boy’s eye.
