Miners rough Thunder in 42-6 win

The Miners traveled to Eagle Lake to take on the Class 7A Lake Region Thunder and with a second half explosion of four touchdowns, they beat the Eagle Lake team 42-6.
It took the Miners just four plays as Jay Smith connected with Chris Morris for a 50-yard touchdown pass. Following the PAT kick by Jack Cortez, the Miners led 7-0 with 10:11 left in the first quarter.
