On U.S. 98 from County Road 540A to State Road 540 crews are removing contaminated impacted soil from along the old railroad bed along the east side of U.S. 98 and immediately west of the Fort Fraser Trail.

The project begins north of C.R. 540A and ends south of S.R. 540 in Polk County. Daily work begins at 7 a.m. and ends by 6 p.m. during the week. It is expected to be completed by Nov. 21.
