Willie Lois Geohagan, 87, passed away Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at her home in Bartow of respiratory failure.

Born Oct. 27, 1924, in Florala, Ala., Mrs. Geohagan had been a resident of Bartow since 1946, moving from Samson, Ala. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Bartow.

Mrs. Geohagan was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Winfred Geohagan, and a daughter-in-law, Alicia Mott Geohagan.

Survivors include two sons Larry Geohagan of Lakeland and Keith Geohagan and wife Stephanie Stratton Geohagan of Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Birdie Adams of Florala, Ala.; five grandchildren, Kimberly Jackson and husband Jon of Bartow, Tami Parks and husband David of Columbia, S.C., Steven Geohagan, Corey and wife Colleen Geohagan, and Katie Geohagan all of Charlotte, N.C.; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Wednesday, Dec. 14, from 6-8 p.m., at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.

Funeral: Thursday, Dec. 15, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
