The 2012 election season officially got under way when the qualifying deadline for candidates came to a close Friday, June 15. The ballot will be a busy one for all but a handful of candidates who are unopposed for re-election.

Returning to their respective offices without opposition are Clerk of Courts Bob Germaine, Property Appraise C. Raymond McIntyre, Tax Collector Eric Zwayer, and District 2 School Board member Donna Howerton.
