Child abuse will be the topic when Prevention Specialist Russell Sharp from the Champion for Children Advocacy Center speaks Friday at 10 a.m. at Lake Placid Memorial Library.

“Awareness of the Issue of Child Abuse and Prevention is Everyone’s Responsibility” is the title of the presentation. The meeting is open to anyone interested in learning how to prevent child endangerment and abuse in the community.
