A 36-year-old Lake Placid woman died Saturday when she was ejected from her car during a late afternoon crash on
C.R. 29 near Theo Lane.

Angela L. Jenkins was driving her 1994 Chevrolet north of C.R. 29 when the car drifted off the right side of the two-lane road. As she drove back onto the roadway, Jenkins over-corrected, causing the car to spin in a clockwise direction before again going off the east side of the road. The driver’s side of the car collided with a tree, ejecting the driver.
