A disaster recovery center is open in Highlands County to help those whose homes or businesses were affected by Tropical Storm Debby. The centers are open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.

Locally, the disaster recovery center is located at the Bert J. Harris Jr. Agricultural Center at 4509 George Blvd., Sebring. Disaster recovery centers have also been opened in Hernando and Pinellas counties to assist storm survivors there.
