Next Unity in Community initiative June 18 at LWHS

The Rev. William Kincaid prayed before the first Unity in Community initiative meeting held May 31. His prayer was answered with a program called Community Prayer Warrior. It calls for, among other things, meetings once per month that will rotate from church to church.

The public — especially youth — is invited to a Unity in Community initiative to address problems and ways to invest in our children to make a difference in their lives and in the community. The event will begin 6 p.m., Monday, June 18 and will take place in the media room of Lake Wales High School, 1 Highlander Way.
It is not necessary to RSVP, but those wishing to do so should contact Sandy Odom at (863) 676-3445.
