Arts Council to hold July 4th Bike Parade

The Lake Wales Arts Council will host an artistic parade on the shores of Lake Wailes lake, Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Participants can register at 9 a.m. near the basketball court. The Arts Council will provide art supplies and instruction for children to decorate their bikes, trikes, wagons and scooters. Parents are encouraged to decorate their baby buggies. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and go from the basketball court to the boat ramp and back. The Lake Wales YMCA will sponsor kids’ activities during the event.
