It is not a done deal, but the city has agreed to provide financial support as an incentive to bring a manufacturer of a green sustainable product to Lake Wales.

The Lake Wales City Commission voted 4-0 approving a Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund resolution during Tuesday night’s meeting. The city will spend $18,900 over a three-year period as its contribution, according to Harold Gallup, the economic development director for Lake Wales.
