The Lake Wales High School ROTC opened the 9-11 prayer ceremony held at the City Municipal building on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012.

Pastor Wilfredo Perez said it was a day that “will live in infamy in the hearts of American people ... lives were snuffed out by heinous acts by demon-possessed minds.”
Pastor Bob Beckler said the day “remains a mystery that is emblazoned for ever on our hearts and minds.”
