Lake Wales making improvements to parks

More than 200 feet of sidewalk has been added at Crystal Lake Park in Lake Wales.

Margaret Swanson, the planning director for Lake Wales, said the city’s parks are getting more use and that can present parking problems.
The city is trying to deal with that issue at Crystal Lake and Lake Wailes parks. It is spending $25,000 this year and $25,000 next year in impact fees for the improvements.
