On Oct. 27, 15 marching bands from across the county will take the field at Denison Stadium in Winter Haven. Marching bands will be performing shows including Pirates of the Caribbean, The Beach Boys, Cirque Du Soleil, Heroes, Journey, Phantom of the Opera, Latin, John Williams, New Orleans and even some Rock and Roll. The show is open to the public and tickets for the event are available at the gate, $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Thousands are expected to attend, so early arrival will ensure a good seat. Also, the Winter Haven Band Booster Organization will be selling foot for your enjoyment. Bands from area high schools include: Auburndale High School, Bartow High School, Ft. Meade Middle-Sr. High School, Frostproof Middle-Sr. High School, George Jenkins High School, Haines City High School, Kathleen High School, Lake Gibson High School, Lake Region High School, Lake Wales High School, Lakeland High School, Mulberry High School, Ridge Community High School, Tenoroc High School, and Winter Haven High School.
