Lake Wales High is planning traditional Homecoming activities for the week of Oct. 8-12, including the annual parade through downtown streets.
The Homecoming Parade is planned for 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11. The traditional parade begins at Polk Avenue Elementary school, travels north on First Street, turns east on Central Avenue, and then turns left/northeast on Lakeshore Boulevard. This year, the parade will end at Orange Avenue (not Legion Field).
