STRAW POLL RESULTS

The Lake Wales News Straw Poll totals for this week have presidential challenger Mitt Romney in the lead over President Barack Obama, 106-93, with one vote cast for Clint Eastwood, and one vote cast for The Lake Wales News Managing Editor Kathy Leigh Berkowitz. When totals from last week’s poll were added to this week’s, the new straw total is President Barack Obama, 176, to Mitt Romney’s 178. If you haven’t cast your vote yet, stop by our office at 140 E. Stuart Avenue in Historic Downtown Lake Wales. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Updated totals will be published every week until the election in November.
