A group of concerned citizens that initially met several months ago with the goal of making Lake Wales a better community for children is moving forward.

The group, which doesn’t have an official name yet, is in the process of forming a steering committee, according to Howard Kay, the president of Unity in Community who has been involved with the group from the outset.
