The Lake Wales Public Library and the Friends of the Lake Wales Public Library will be participating in Florida Library Snapshot Day on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013. The Florida Library Association (FLA) is pleased to announce the third Florida Library Snapshot Day event.

The Lake Wales Public Library will join libraries across Florida in taking pictures and collecting statistics and members’ comments showing how Floridians are utilizing their libraries that day. The FLA will then collect the results and post them online. The Florida Library Association, in partnership with the Division of Library and Information Services will be posting the results on the FLA website www.flalib.org, where everyone can see these powerful stories.
