President has bad policy

The events of the last few days have shown the failure of our Middle East foreign policy. Our President failed to even mention the attack on our Egyptian embassy when he gave a speech in the Rose Garden after finding out about the death of our ambassador to Libyan consulate in Bengazi. The attack on our embassy is an act of war and he did not say anything about it much less denounce this brazen attack. The murder of our Libyan diplomats was a planned terrorist attack on 9/11 that used the rioting as a cover. Where is the outrage from our President? All we hear is an apology and a defense of free speech. We have been attacked and we can’t even threaten to refuse any more aid of these countries. His lack of any denouncement of the embassy attack probably led to more attacks on our embassies in our countries and sends a message of weakness to the people who want to attack us.

At the same time our President cannot find the time for a face to face meeting with the leader of Israel at a time when Iran is developing weapons to destroy the nation of Israel. It really feels like our government has no leadership in terms of the Middle East at a time when real decisions need to be made. Where is the outrage for this total failure by our administration? Why was our Libyan ambassador in a lightly defended consulate and not in our heavily fortified embassy in Tripoli on 9/11? We need answers to these questions and not apologies.
