Helen Mae Crews
of Lake Wales passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8,
2012, at Good Shepherd Hospice of Auburndale of heart failure.

She was born April 14, 1927, in Perry, Ga., to the late Luther W. and Willie B. (Stembridge) Grant and moved to Lake Wales at age 8.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Crews and three brothers.

Survivors include her three sons, David (wife Carol ) of Lake Wales, Steven (wife Phyllis) of Seneca, S.C., and Jeff (wife Tammy) of Lake Wales; eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one sister Ann Moore (husband Charles) of Lake Wales.

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. David Koon officiating.

Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, from 1 p.m. until service time.

Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales or Golfview Baptist Church of Lake Wales.

Marion Nelson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
