James S. Morrison, 35, of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born March 6, 1977 in Riverview, Michigan to James Steven and Jeannie Marie (Felix) Morrison; he came to the Lake Wales area over 20 years ago from Michigan. He was a driver for SECA (Southeastern Christian Academy), was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Deborah Lynn Morrison of 7 years; daughter, Cheryl Cofer-LeMay (husband Joseph) of Frostproof; son, Richard Cofer (wife Nita) of Lake Wales; Father, Jim Morrison of Lake Wales; Mother, Jeannie Morrison of Frostproof; brother, John Morrison of Mt. Pleasant, MI; sisters, Jenny Reid of Frostproof, Jacqueline Logsdon of Mt. Pleasant, MI; 5 grandchildren, Lars, Katelyn, Kayla, Jaedon and Alyssa.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 with funeral services at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
