Doris Hollis Everett

Doris Hollis Everett, 90, of Frostproof passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 12, 1922, in Esto, Fla. to the late Coy Kinsey and Ethel (Kirkland) Hollis and has been a resident of Frostproof since 1946 moving here from Slocomb, Ala. She was a retired School Teacher for Highlands County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof. Doris was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Everett, Sr.

Survivors include her daughter, Marisue Sebastian of Lake Wales; son, Eugene Everett Jr. of Frostproof; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the Silver Hill Cemetery with James Spence officiating.
