The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting which occurred this week.

On Monday, June 18, at about 2:50 p.m., Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to #5 Bernie Hill Court, Winter Haven, the home of 69-year-old Kimber Renee Phillips, and her husband, 64-year-old Stephen Craig Phillips, after receiving a call that someone had been shot.
