Police target panhandling and downtown crime

Lake Wales Police have been increasing their effort to fight alleged panhandlers in the Historic Lake Wales Downtown area.
According to Lake Wales Police Chief Chris Velasquez, the Crime Suppression Unit conducted an operation downtown and arrests were made.
