According to police reports, Lake Wales Police detectives have been investigating five automobile burglaries that occurred between the dates of July 30 and Aug. 10.

In four of the burglaries, the people who committed the crimes broke out a window of a vehicle to steal a purse and in one case, a purse was stolen out of a vehicle which was left unsecured.
