Suspect sought in Davenport suspicious death

A warrant has been issued by the Polk County Sheriff's Dept. for the arrest of Calvin Deon Jones of Lake Wales, in connection with the Felony Murder and Armed Robbery of Damien Rahim of Orlando.

Polk County Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating the homicide of 37-year-old Damien Dominique Rahim, of 8040 Firenze Blvd., Orlando, and have obtained a warrant for the arrest of 26-year-old Calvin Deon Jones, of 157 Evergreen, Lake Wales, for felony murder and armed robbery as related to this case. Four days after the alleged murder, Jones is still at large, according to PCSO spokesperson Carrie Eleazor.
PCSO received a call around 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 in reference to a deceased adult male in a car parked at the Days Inn Motel, 2425 Frontage Road (cross street U.S. Highway 27 North) in Davenport. When deputies arrived they found Rahim deceased inside his car, the apparent victim of a homicide, it reports.
