Libby Road bust yields thousands in cash

A recent mid-day drug bust in Babson Park yielded thousands of dollars in cash, numerous arrests, and the exposure of marijuana grow houses.

When members of the HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) Task Force, along with PCSO Organized Crime and Narcotics Units acted on a Crime Stoppers tip, several arrests were made, according to reports.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Oct. 15, units “simultaneously” responded to three Babson Park addresses for a sting: 540 Libby Rd., 547 Libby Rd., and 539 Libby Rd.
