Auditions were held for the Charlotte Players musical production “The Wizard of Oz” on Sept. 8. During the open auditions, artistic director Gary Obeldobel worked with many children and adults to find those with the right combination of talents for the large musical.

As hopefuls arrived to audition for “The Wizard of Oz,” they signed in, completed an information sheet, had a head shot taken, were given a piece of the script to read and the schedule of rehearsals.
