DESOTO COUNTY — DeSoto County took another step toward a public transportation service Tuesday when commissioners approved Veolia Transportation Services to operate bus service in Arcadia and Nocatee.

Commissioners signed off on the concept back in December when they agreed to accept state and federal money to purchase two small buses and begin operating regular bus routes in Arcadia.
