Walls go up on Habitat home

Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity and Smuggler’s Enterprises, a group of local businesses that includes the Laishley Crab House, held a wall-raising Wednesday for the home of Carolyn Morales on Tropical Avenue in Port Charlotte. Smuggler’s is sponsoring six new construction homes, which are slated to be completed by the end of the year.
