Ten cadet members of the Charlotte County Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol returned from the annual Florida Wing Summer Encampment at Camp Blanding in Starke, Fla., just in time to go back to school.
This session is designed to give cadets an introduction to the Air Force culture with hands-on leadership and aerospace training in a team environment. Three of the cadets were selected to serve on the camp leadership staff. This honor was bestowed on Cadet Capt. Jonathan Fischer, Cadet 2nd Lt. Amanda Langley, and Cadet Senior Master Sgt. Katlynn Holland.
