North Port man arrested in Port Charlotte drug sale
PORT CHARLOTTE — Charlotte County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit detectives arrested a North Port man Monday after a third undercover cocaine drug purchase. Arrested on nine charges was Loudgey Phillips Heraux, 33, of the 4000 block of Pine Cone Terrace. He was charged with three counts each for sale and delivery of cocaine, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Narcotics detectives purchased cocaine from Heraux on July 3 and Aug. 10. He was arrested Monday afternoon when he took $1,200 in the drug exchange for 27.6 grams of cocaine. He was immediately arrested and transported to the Charlotte County Jail. Heraux posted a $25,500 bond and was released.
