A reception for Punta Gorda artist Janet Jennings was held Tuesday at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home in Punta Gorda, as part of the Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County’s Art in Public Places program. Here, Jennings pauses before one of her many acrylic artworks. She also paints whimsical furniture and rocks. Janet is a self-taught artist, but recently has been taking classes at the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda with Alberto Cruz.
