S ome people who don’t know much about wine think of it as a drink for rich folks who like to stick their noses in a glass, take a sniff and a sip, and talk about acid and oak and chocolate and fruit and all the other subtle flavors wines are said to posses.

On the other end of the spectrum, some may remember next-day hangover headaches caused by underage overindulgence in Thunderbird or Ripple.
