ARCADIA — The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office has caught and an inmate who reportedly escaped from the DeSoto County Jail Friday.

The fugitive, 20-year-old Tyler Carlan, was apprehended shortly after the escape announcement went out late Friday. No further information was available Friday evening.
